Speed Game Dating
Speed Game Dating (SGD) is a new event format which we present at Flash GAMM.
The players usually decide whether they are going to play the game during first few minutes of the game session. The same is true about the publishers – they consider whether to promote the game within these first minutes too.
We decided to apply the principle of Speed Dating to the communication of game developers and publishers. Thus the developers who have games to show could get acquainted with maximum of publishers interested in that.

The format of Speed Game Dating
- SGD will be held in Lazurny Hall on the first conference day, starting at 15-00. We are going to stream it into flash, mobile and social if we have a lot of games.
- The developers with their laptops, tablets and mobile devices will be sitting at one side of the table – the publishers at the other.
- You will have 3 minutes for the presentation, then a SGD moderator will give a signal to change the pairs – the publishers will move to the next developer clockwise.
- If the number of developers and publishers doesn’t coincide, we’ll optimize the streams to get everyone acquainted.
- After the official part you will not be limited in time to talk to each other during the conference.
Advantages of Speed Game Dating
- Sometimes developers hesitate to come up to a booth, don’t know what to say or who to talk to. SGD solves the problem.
- Unlike projects fair, you are not bound to your computer and don’t have to miss lectures. SGD enables you to show the game to the most interested people in the minimum time.
- We create general conditions for mutual advantage of publishers and developers.
Speed Game Dating participation conditions
- Regarding that it will be an experiment, the participation in the event is free of charge for both developers and publishers.
- You need to fill in the online form till December 1, 2011 and confirm your participation by email in a few days before the conference (all the registered participants will be sent a confirmation letter with detailed instructions).
- Developers have to have laptops, tablets or mobile devices to present their games, as well as their business cards to exchange contact information.
- The publishers have to bring their business cards and good mood.
- We can’t guarantee the admittance to the participants who won’t register in advance!

The Games Contest has already become a good tradition of Flash GAMM conference. This time all the nominations are presented by attending companies which implies that the prizes will be numerous and of top quality.
Now the contest will consider not only flash, social and mobile titles, but also HTML5 games, Game Design Documents and concept art.
The aim of our contest is to give developers an opportunity to present their creative works to the industry on one side, and help publishers and investors find new interesting games and talented developers on the other side.
Apart of sending your incomplete games for the contest you may show them to publishers personally at our Speed Game Dating.
You don’t have to visit the conference in order to take part in the contest, but it is desirable that you do because at the conference close we always hold the award ceremony.

Announcement Flash GAMM! Kyiv 2011
The international conference Flash GAMM! is gathering specialists and experts in flash, social and mobile gaming for the 7th time.
On December 10-11, 2011, the Rus hotel in Kyiv is going to admit more than 700 participants, including the representatives of large companies, small studios and indie-developers.
Following the tradition, numerous lectures and blitz-sessions will cover wide range of industry issues. Alongside marketing and management, technical aspects of game development (Flash, iOS, Android, HTML5, etc.) will be considered. For English language presentations, simultaneous interpretation is provided.
The practice of previous events proved that Game Lynch shown itself to advantage. Thus, this year we decided to give our experts, the representatives of leading gaming companies, another opportunity to discuss the pros and cons of the given games. We invite everyone, who is not afraid of keen but constructive public criticism, to take part in the event!
Flash GAMM! Games contest changes its format again! The nominations are going the increase in number because numerous companies expressed their wish to support the contest with prizes and would like to see new interesting games from indie-developers, studios and experienced companies. But the most important is that the participants may send unlimited quantity of games for the contest!
Meet new Flash GAMM! event — Speed Game Dating. The objective is to get acquainted maximum of developers and publishers. Thus, each developer will have a chance to discuss his idea or show his work during a one-to-one talk with all the interested publishers in turn! On our side we guarantee comfort and equal conditions for everyone. The only reserve is that each couple will have no more than 3 minutes before the listener moves to next presenter.
Apart of new formats, we are sure to have long-established round table discussions and master classes. The well-known forms acquire new content every time because the discussed matters are always topical.
