Round tables and blitz-sessions

March 31, 2010

In the frame of the conference Flash GAMM Moscow 2010 two round tables are organized.
We invite everyone to take part in the round table discussions, particularly indie developers and companies engaged in social games development and publishing.

Round table “Social boom!”
1. That are the reasons of such a stir among the developers? Is that good or bad?
2. Social networks, publishers, developers – roles, money, relationships.
3. What are the main factors of a successful social game? What are the most popular genres?
4. The terms of gamу development and game life.
5. The lack of professional flash developers and flash designers for social networks.
6. The problem of unauthorized content and clones. Does it actually exist? Why many people wink at it?
7. Forecasts. What will the social boom result in? When should we expect for its recession?

Round table “Indies”
0. Who are indies?
1. Why do developers become indie?
2. Making games for oneself or for others – pros and cons?
3. The problems of involving off-site developers into a project.
4. How a game may be sold? What monetization methods exist?
5. Figures. How much a game may bring.
6. Cash. Pay systems, taxes.
7. Development. What to strive for? Should one remain indie or start up a company?

If you have a word to say about indie developers or social games, just email the organizers to flashgamm@absolutist.com

One more section will be devoted to blitz-sessions.
The participants of IT Sea and RAFPUG are already aware of the point. Each speaker has some fixed time (5 minutes) to make a survey of a problem, for example, to give an overview of his project, some innovations, challenges in game development, etc. Generally it’s very vivid and interesting. It gives an opportunity to find soul-mates, partners and simply the people interested in the same issues.

The section of blitz-sessions will take part before lunch, so, you may ask the questions and discuss the matter in details during the breaks.

If you have an information to share and are eager to present a 3-5 blitz session email us!
